The sale started early in anticipation the weatherman's forecast was going to be on target.  About 75 buyers and sellers showed up and trading of money for radios (and sometimes radios for radios) was brisk.
There were two Radiola Junior crystal sets for sale.  This radio is rarely seen so it was really unusual to see two.  Lots of parts, tubes, knobs, and the typical miscellaneous stuff was abundant.  The morning was capped of with a lively donation auction.  It was good to see Bob and Ophelia from Kansas, the Oklahoma, Austin and Houston gang.  Lots of others from a 200 mile radius.  The party was over before noon. Fortunately, the weatherman was running a little late on his forecast
cause he sure was not wrong about it becoming HOT!!  Oh well, what do you expect in Texas this time of year.
